About iLoveNoWatermark

Almost every downloader claims “no watermark” somewhere on its home page. A good number of them then hand back a file with their own URL stamped into the corner, because a video that travels with your branding on it is free advertising and somebody decided that was worth taking from you.

We named the site after the one thing we will not do. Files that leave here carry nothing of ours — no badge, no intro card, no metadata tag. That is not a feature we might revisit when growth slows. It is the reason the site exists.

The flip side of that promise is honesty about the marks we cannot touch. A TikTok bug or a CapCut outro is part of the picture by the time Instagram has it, and no download removes it without wrecking the video. We would rather say so than let you find out after the save.

When you paste a link, we read the post code out of it and ask Instagram's public media endpoint what that post contains. Instagram answers with the same direct file addresses your browser receives when the post loads on screen. We show you what came back, and when you press download we stream your chosen file through to you with a sensible filename attached.

That streaming step exists for a dull but necessary reason: browsers ignore the “save this” instruction on links pointing at another domain, so a raw CDN link would just open the video in a new tab. Passing it through our server is what makes the file save properly instead.

What the server does not do is keep anything. No storage bucket of your downloads, no account history, no conversion queue holding your file while an advert plays. The request goes through and it is over.

Some limits here are technical. These ones are decisions, and we would rather state them than let you discover them when a feature quietly fails.

• Anything that reaches into private accounts. A follower-only post is a boundary somebody set deliberately, and no download tool should be talking its way around it.
• A login field of any kind. There is no feature worth your Instagram password, and a site that asks for one should be closed immediately.
• Our watermark on your file. This is the whole point.
• Fake progress bars, decoy buttons, or a redirect chain through three ad pages before the real link. If a button here says download, it downloads.
• Bulk harvesting of entire accounts. This is a tool for keeping something you wanted, not for scraping somebody's whole body of work.

The running costs are mostly bandwidth, and the plan for covering them is ordinary display advertising, possibly with an optional paid tier later for people who want higher throughput. Not data sales — there is no data here worth selling, which is rather the point.

If that changes, it will be written on this page before it happens rather than discovered in a diff of the privacy policy.

Every file this site hands you was made by somebody. Downloading it does not change who owns it. Keeping a copy to watch, study or archive is normal; putting someone else's work out as your own is not, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend the question never comes up.
